Plant Bio

The pet-friendly Bromeliad Antonio Pink is sometimes known as the Pink Quill because of its exotic pink bracts; these blooms can last 3-6 months and produce short-blooming purple flowers under the right conditions. As the cultivar is native to tropical Ecuadorian rainforests, it prefers filtered water to tap water in its central cup and benefits from extra humidity and bright indirect sunlight most of the time. When your bromeliad has finished blooming, cut back its blooms to help it focus on new growth, or propagate the plant by removing one of its identical “pups."
