The Arrowhead Plant, Syngonium, is an evergreen perennial vine noted for its namesake spade-like leaves. It can take on many different hues and patterns, from dusty pink to lime green and jade green with white variegation; so-called "goosefoot" is also a natural climber, and so you can train it to wrap around a trellis or moss pole, and make a colorful design statement! Easy to care for, the plant is happiest in conditions that evoke its native Central and South American rainforests. Keep it in indirect sunlight (medium and bright preferred—though it can tolerate low light), and water once every one to two weeks depending on the light level. Mushy or drooping leaves are a sign that your Arrowhead Plant is thirsty or over-hydrated, and if it etoliates, it is asking to be moved to a sunnier spot in your home.
