Plant Bio

Like many cultivars and species in the Bromeliad family, the pet-friendly Bromeliad Vriesea ‘Vogue’ is known for its cone-like flowering spike, which can last as long as three to six months. The Tropical American epiphyte is generally an easy-care plant, tolerating a range of light levels, but it is sensitive to hard tap water and its cup should only ever be filled with filtered water or water that had been left out overnight. When your bromeliad has finished blooming, cut back its blooms to help it focus on new growth; you can also propagate the plant by removing one of its identical “pups."
